Where to Start
Facing an Unplanned Pregnancy? You Are Not Alone!
It can feel overwhelming when you first see those two pink lines, especially when it wasn’t part of your plan. Maybe you’re worried about school, finances, relationships, or even just how you’ll make it through the day.
You might feel like life as you know it is ending. But here’s the truth: it’s going to be okay. There is hope, there is help, and you don’t have to walk this road alone.

At Ohana Beginnings, we exist for women just like you. Whether you’re a teenager, a single mom, or a woman facing difficult circumstances like trafficking or unsafe housing, we want you to know that hope is possible. You don’t have to have everything figured out. We’ll help you take one step at a time.
Who We Serve
We serve women and teens (ages 13-36) in Utah who are:
- Facing an unplanned pregnancy
- Parenting alone as single moms
- Teen moms still finishing school
- Women who have been trafficked or are in unsafe situations
- Women considering adoption
No matter your background or circumstances, you have a place here. Our goal is to meet you where you are with compassion, respect, and the resources you need to move forward with confidence.
How We Can Help You
Your health and your baby’s health matter most. We’ll help you connect with OB/GYN care, get referrals for prenatal services, and make sure you are in a safe living environment.
Your future doesn’t have to stop just because you’re having a baby. Education is one of the most powerful tools a woman can have. It opens doors, builds confidence, and creates opportunities for a better life for you and your child.
From baby clothes and cribs to diapers and bottles, we help you gather the essentials you’ll need. Parenting classes and mentoring are available to guide you as you prepare to welcome your little one.
Support doesn’t stop when your baby arrives. We’ll be here for you afterward with postpartum care, mental health resources, lactation support, and ongoing mentorship. Our goal is for you to feel strong, healthy, and supported as you step into motherhood.
If adoption feels like the right choice, our adoption lawyer will guide you through the process, explain your rights as a birth mother, and make sure you feel confident every step of the way.
We’ll also help connect you with adoptive families and walk alongside you as you explore what relationship feels right for your situation. You don’t have to navigate it alone – we’ll be there every step of the way.
Pregnancy and having a baby can feel expensive, but you don’t have to figure it out on your own. We’ll connect you with programs like WIC, help you access financial assistance, and provide baby essentials like diapers, clothing, and formula.
Whether you want to finish high school, pursue college, or continue training for your career, we’ll help you find childcare options and educational support so you don’t have to choose between your future and your family. You deserve the chance to chase your goals while caring for your child.
Pregnancy and parenting can bring overwhelming emotions, but you don’t have to face them alone. We offer therapy and mental health services during pregnancy and after birth, giving you a safe place to talk and find strength.
If your home isn’t safe or stable, we’ll help you explore housing resources and shelter options that protect you and your baby.
Each woman in our program is paired with a mentor who offers encouragement, guidance, and support. Your mentor works with you one-on-one, helping you set goals, find resources, and reminding you that you are never alone.
Cost of Services
All of our services are free. If there is ever a cost, we work with you to find financial help so money never gets in the way of care.
Take the First Step
If you’re staring at a positive test and don’t know where to turn, we’re here for you. You don’t need to have all of the answers, and you don’t need to walk this road by yourself. At Ohana Beginnings, we’ll meet you exactly where you are and take the next step together.
