Adoption Services

A pregnant woman sits at a round table in a law office, meeting with two lawyers, a man and a woman in business suits. The man is smiling as he reviews and signs documents, while the woman looks on.

If you’re pregnant and considering adoption, you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. Adoption is a loving choice that allows you to make the best plan for yourself and your baby. At Ohana Beginnings, we provide education, legal guidance, and emotional support so you can feel confident every step of the way.

Please know this: the choice is always yours. Whether you decide to parent, get married, or place your child for adoption, we will support you in your decision. There is never any pressure to choose one path over another.

How We Help

Our Adoption Services are designed to guide you through the entire process with care and respect:

  • Education and Planning: Learn about the adoption process, your legal rights as a birth mother, and the realities of open and closed adoptions.
  • Legal Support: Our partnering adoption attorneys make sure every step is legal, safe, and in your best interest.
  • Family Connections: We help you connect with loving, vetted adoptive families.
  • Emotional and Therapy Support: We provide counseling, mental health referrals, and safe spaces to process the emotions that come with considering or choosing adoption.
  • Mentorship: A mentor will walk with you one-on-one, offering encouragement and support.
  • Post-Adoption Care: We provide counseling, emotional support, and peer mentorship for up to two years after placement.
  • Adoption Awareness and Education: Our free adoption course and informational video help you, and the community, understand what adoption really looks like.

Adoption can bring a mix of emotions—grief, love, relief, and hope. Whatever you feel, we’ll be here to support you through it all.

For Donors & Volunteers

Your support makes it possible for moms to explore adoption without fear or pressure. Donations fund education courses, post-placement counseling, and legal guidance. Volunteers provide mentorship that helps mothers feel cared for during one of the most important decisions of their lives.

You can be the reason a mom feels supported and confident to choose adoption, and a baby is welcomed into the world with love.
